About Me

Rob Coggin

I grew up in the Tampa, FL area, following a passion into music at an early age - began playing drums at the age of 15 and in various bands around the area.  I discovered my passion for photography by having taken the reins on a number of smaller music video projects and helping out on some film projects.  From there, I ended up finding my way into still photography, while continuing to work on larger and more complex film and video projects. Since then my photography work has grown to include everything from weddings to family photo shoots, studio shoots, nature, concerts and art-based projects, feature length films, short films, music videos, and corporate/commercial video and photography projects including real estate and product photography. I have over 40 IMDb credits to date, with 9 as cinematographer and another 10 for other work in the camera department on various film sets.

I also work a regular day job as a field manager for a successful consulting firm in the commercial energy industry. I am an 8-year veteran of the United States Navy, have traveled to many different countries around the world, most states within the U.S., and hold a Bachelor's of Science in Nuclear Engineering Technology from TESU.  I have a burning desire to travel, explore, learn new things and create. I continue my lifelong passion for drumming to this day, and I have two rambunctious Golden Retrievers that I love more than life itself. :)
